Caitlyn Jenner reacts to Ricky Gervaiss jokes & shes only dating men now

Somehow, we ended up talking about Caitlyn Jenner all week and she didn’t even say a word. It happened because Ricky Gervais dead-named Caitlyn and made trans “jokes” the beginning of his Golden Globes monologue. When Gervais was criticized for insensitivity (or whatever you want to call it), he went on a Twitter rampage defending his right to make transphobic jokes. Or whatever. It would have been great, I think, if Caitlyn had just stayed quiet and let Gervais talk himself in circles. But Caitlyn was hustling for the second season of her reality show, I Am Cait, on Thursday, so of course she got some questions about Gervais. This is what she said:

“On Ricky, I think what I’m gonna do is call the Golden Globes and see if they need a new host for next year. And we’ll solve that problem.”

Is she saying that she’d like to host the Globes next year? Or is she saying the HFPA just needs to get a new host? I would argue that she doesn’t have ANY pull with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in either case. Maybe if Leonardo DiCaprio or Jennifer Lawrence said something like “We need a different host next year, someone who doesn’t do hacky, transphobic jokes,” maybe then the HFPA would listen. But I get Caitlyn’s drift.

Meanwhile, did you know that Caitlyn doesn’t want to date women anymore? After three ex-wives, she’s done with women. She wants to be with men now.

Caitlyn Jenner has opened up about her romantic life in the new trailer for her TV reality show “I Am Cait” — and has revealed that her dating future will not involve women. The Season 2 promo, released on Thursday, January 14, showed the 66-year-old former Olympian talking candidly about her future sex life while taking a road trip with her girlfriends on a bus.

“Do you consider yourself to be lesbian?” her pal, Chandi Moore, asked outright.

“To be honest with you, I don’t see myself dating women in the future,” Jenner replied candidly. “I’ve been there, done that, got three ex-wives.”

“So now you can have an ex-husband!” Jenner’s friend Jennifer Boylan responded, laughing loudly.

“That’s right!” answered Jenner, looking a little coy about the discussion.

If she wants to date men now, God bless. This article actually got me to watch the promo (I’m including it below) and what concerns me so much more than the Caitlyn-dating-men-now thing is the fact that she’s still, like, arch-conservative politically. She’s arguably one of the most famous transgender women in the country/world, and she talks like a Tea Partier. It’s amazing cognitive dissonance.
