Jennifer Aniston probably wore an off-the-rack wedding dress & J.Crew veil

Did you realize that Jennifer Aniston rarely wears all-white? It’s true. She’s sort of famous for her (over)reliance on little black dresses, but even when she steps out of LBD box, she usually goes for some muted neutral and never a simple white dress. So this photo (above) is from a 2010 photocall she did in Spain for Bounty Hunter. She wore a simple white sheath and she looked pretty good. I’m choosing to believe that her wedding dress was this simple too. We’ve heard such varied reports on what she wore for her Bel Air-backyard wedding, but Howard Stern did say that her dress was short. Now Us Weekly claims that Jennifer just went to a store to buy her dress and she topped it off with a simple veil from J. Crew.

She truly is just like Us! We all know that Jennifer Aniston married her longtime beau, Justin Theroux, in a surprise wedding at their luxurious Bel Air mansion on Wednesday, Aug. 5. But one thing we didn’t know: The bride wore a veil from J.Crew!

The Friends alum, 46, who’s graced the most glorious red carpets wearing luxurious styles by Versace, John Galliano, and Saint Laurent, topped her knee-length frock with a veil from the popular chain store (whose veils typically sell for about $200).

Plus, the little white dress in question wasn’t super high-end, either. “Jen bought her dress at a store,” an Aniston insider shared. “It wasn’t thousands of dollars.” The bride finished her ensemble with a wide, diamond-studded wedding band, designed by her good friend Jennifer Meyer, who also crafted the groom’s bling.

And the casual ‘tude didn’t stop there. As a source shared with Us Weekly, “Their dogs were the ring bearers!” There was even a photo booth, where some from their guest list, which included Emily Blunt, Ellen DeGeneres, and Maid of Honor Courteney Cox, snuck inside to take racy snaps—including the newlyweds!

Of course their dogs were ringbearers. Of course! As for the J. Crew veil…you can see J.Crew’s online veil and headpiece section here. It doesn’t seem like Jennifer would have had many choices? She either chose the short point d’esprit veil (which looks really cheap) or the single-layer veil that would have fallen down to her thigh, or the full-length veil. My guess is the mid-length one at $120. Veiling on the cheap! Anyway, I kind of like that Jennifer didn’t make a big deal about the dress and veil and everything. I’ll admit it – I’m still interested in seeing photos from the wedding. Just one wedding portrait, please?

Meanwhile, Jennifer just arrived in Atlanta to work on Gary Marshall’s Mother’s Day – go here to see some photos. Seriously though, Marshall is going to run out of holidays to exploit with his terrible rom-coms. Although I would love it if Richard Curtis took the piss out of Marshall and did a British rom-com ensemble, Boxing Day. Or St. George’s Day, starring Hugh Grant, Idris Elba, Maggie Smith, Keira Knightley and Jason Statham (sh-t, I would watch that).
