Serena Williams And Husband Alexis Ohanian Celebrate Greatest Accomplishment Daughters 2nd

The tennis champion took to her social media to pay tribute to her ‘greatest accomplishment,’ her daughter, Alexis Olympia, on her second birthday. Serena Williams is obviously a very proud mom and she could not help but celebrate her offspring on the special day.

She posted a snap that was taken in the hospital soon after welcoming the child and captioned it with: ‘The last 2 years have been my greatest accomplishment.’

In the meantime, her husband and father of her daughter, Alexis Ohanian, made sure to also mark the little girl’s birthday with a sweet message online.

He posted a really cute pic of the family of three’s hands and captioned it with: ‘How has it already been 2 years? Happy cake day @olympiaohanian 🍰♥️ Thank you for being the greatest thing we have ever done.’

The man also praised the experience of getting paternity leave as he continued: ‘And thank you for teaching me that every parent in the US deserves those first months with their newborn. I’m a better business leader because of it. #PaidFamilyLeave.’

This is not the first time the Reddit co-founder mentions the amazing benefits of taking parental leave.

Just last month, he published an essay for NYT Parenting, explaining his decision to take 16 weeks off work as soon as Serena gave birth to their baby back in September of 2017.

He recalled how at the time, the tennis player fought for her life against pulmonary embolisms and nothing could have taken him away from his family.

Even when they finally came home with their infant, Serena had a hole in her abdomen, needed constant attention and care as she could not even walk.

He learned a lot about parenthood during that time as he did his best to be a good dad, as well as husband.

It’s obvious that little Alexis Olimpia Jr. is the most important thing in her parents’ lives and that will never change.
